Dry Fruits Industry In Sri Lanka

Dehydrated or Dried fruits are fruits from which the majority of the original water content has been removed. Dozens of types of dried fruit are available in the Sri Lankan market and different methods of drying such as air drying, freeze drying and oven drying are used in order to dry the fruits. The drying process involves dehydrating small pieces of fruits from a source of hot dry air until it is dry enough to store at ambient temperature with minimal level of water.

A great little snack which can be also used as a wonderful addition to desserts.
